Mt 16:24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
Heb 5:8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered.
We all know people who have suffered much loss in their lives. Many have lost people close to them or have suffered the ravages of disease, war, or abuse. We note that by the end of their lives such people either learn great empathy and kindness towards those who suffer loss or abuse and are great comforters or they become bitter and distanced. If we have ever been comforted by the first, we know its great worth. What is our choice in life? What do we want our God to mold in us?
Living one day at a time; Enjoying one moment at a time; Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace; Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it; Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His Will; That I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him Forever in the next.
