Let’s Please The Other ~ Not Ourselves And Do What Is For His Good and Thus Build Him Up in the Lord ~~ Roman 15:2
Most of us encounter at least one or two difficult people who seem to rip our peace right out from under us the minute they walk through the door. What do you do when this happens ~ especially when it’s someone close to you? ~~ Lindsey Roberts
God tells us that love is the key. We love Him and Trust Him because He first loved us (I John 4:19) not the other way around.
We all know good people who have bag baggage. It is usually the spirit of fear, sadness, and hate for themselves that it presents itself as anger and bitterness that people carry in their lives from the past. When their harsh words or bitter anger begins to influence your world, remember it’s your responsibility to become like God and remember that they need that love too to heal, just as God brought you to sanity out of this insane world.
God has brought us from distress and isolaton, let’s help our brothers and sisters do that by not retaliating, but overcome evil with good (Romans 12:21) for only then will we find peace.
